I've had some glitches with the display a few times (the side bar wouldn't show up correctly). But I like it so much for storing and reading that it's worth it to me. An obvious downside is Paperpile costs money, while Mendeley and Zotero are free, at least last I checked. When it comes to actually creating a bibliography, I have had more issues with citations actually being correct with Paperpile than with Endnote. I definitely find it to be the least clunky citation management system in terms of finding, saving, and reading papers. Paperpile is definitely my favorite for easy cloud-based pdf management, as well as integration with Google scholar and Google docs (which I had been using for a long time before trying Paperpile). I used to use Mendeley and have used EndNote as well.
